Set up a flea trap in the house
Fleas are a nuisance - not just for your pets. Depending on the species, these little bloodsuckers can also drive people to despair. If you have a flea problem yourself, you don't have to call the exterminator directly. There are also flea traps. You can even make these yourself, without any chemicals:
What you need:
- A deep plate
- A tea light
- water
- Washing-up liquid

During this time it was therefore quite common not only to position flea traps in the apartment, but to wear them on the body all day long.

- A well-tried, easy to manufacture and quite efficient means is the water trap. For this, place a deep plate filled with water in the affected part of your home. Now place a candle in the middle of the plate and light it. Make sure that there are no easily inflammable objects nearby - the use of tea lights minimizes the risk of fire. The heat from the candle will attract fleas. In order for them to drown in the water, you have to add a few drops of washing-up liquid to reduce the surface tension of the water. If several rooms are infested, simply set up several flea traps.
- Although the trap described is a great way to kill the fleas, there is still more activity you can take. Thoroughly vacuum any pad and floors. You can sprinkle salt on the appropriate surfaces beforehand and leave it overnight. This is how you should take out most of the fleas.
