Creating an Origin account does not work
In order to play Electronic Arts (EA) online games, you must create an Origin account. Sometimes it happens that precisely this is not possible. But the problem can be easily fixed.
If you Games from Electronic Arts or play online, you can create an account with Origin, for example, to get quicker access to your game stats. If it is not possible to create an account, this can have different causes.
Quickly set up your Origin account
- Before you can access Origin's content, you must register on the website and create an account. To do this you call Origin and enter your details.
- Finally click on "I accept". With this you confirm that you have read the terms of use and at the same time that your details are correct. You will receive an email as confirmation. You may have to click the confirmation link in the email before logging in for the first time.
Can't create the account?
- If creating an Origin account does not work, check whether you have correctly entered the verification from the "Word Confirmation" captcha. The page may need to be reloaded to display a more readable image.
- If the message appears that your e-mail address already exists, try to log in with it. There may already be an account that you set up in the past. You can use the "Forgot your password" function to have a new password sent to you.
- Especially with the password, make sure that you do not use any special characters. These can often lead to errors, so that you have problems creating the account.
