For each additional row, carefully stretch the guideline again.
  5. Use a trowel to remove excess mortar from the gaps between the sides before placing and pressing down the next row of stones. You can then smooth out minor bumps in the joints with your thumb.
  6. As soon as the concrete wall has reached the desired height and is dry to the touch, you can plaster it all around or paint it as you like.
