"I'm stupid, what can I do?"
Stupidity is not innate, but sometimes it is learned. If you think you're stupid or uneducated, there are a number of ways you can do something about it and stop being attached to your ignorance. And if you don't use any of these options, you can at least say that you are to blame for your own stupidity.
If you are wondering what can be done about stupidity, you should first consider how you would define your goals yourself. Are you just trying to gain more knowledge about all sorts of things, or do you want to make smarter decisions, for example? In order to achieve these different goals, you can do very different things.
Do something about stupidity in a short time
- If you want to increase your knowledge in certain areas, then a university degree can of course provide useful services. But without high-school diploma you will usually be denied going to university, and not everyone can afford an expensive and time-consuming course of study.
- If you want to expand your knowledge in a short time, you should read a lot. In order to acquire specialist knowledge, specialist books or popular non-fiction books are the right choice. But also by studying aesthetics literature everyone can do a lot for their general education.
- If you are (still) ignorant of reading and writing as an adult, you must first do something about it. Don't be ashamed if you're struggling to read or write, because you're in too Germany far from alone.
- In most cases, adult education centers or other non-profit educational institutions offer literacy courses that anyone can use.

Everyone can increase their knowledge
- In order to increase one's own knowledge, curiosity and open-mindedness for the unknown help above all.
- However, if you are also concerned with gaining new insights and thereby perhaps sometimes making better decisions meet, you shouldn't just think about it in private, but talk to people about your ideas and plans exchange.
- Don't be afraid to be disabused if you once wanted to be on the proverbial wrong track. It's also stupid if you don't want to learn.
- And instead of committing yourself to unrealistic projects, it can always be wiser to rethink them.
Nobody is born stupid. And against ignorance and a lack of education, there are many ways of self-help.
