When it comes to providing your plants with an optimal container for their growth, you should consider a concrete planter. This is a wonderful way to present flowers, especially in the garden.

There are of course numerous objects to buy in this area. But there is not always something that meets the right taste. So it would be a good idea to make one or more concrete flower pots yourself. You need little material to put this into practice. However, you should consult 2 other people, for example from the family, for this work. The following will show you how you can cast such buckets yourself with a little manual skill.

Make the base plate for the flower pot

  1. First you should choose a plastic bucket of your choice. From this you take a second one, smaller by 4 cm in circumference, which you can put in the big one later.
  2. Then brush the bottom of the bucket with simple salad oil and place plastic wrap on it, which you raise a little on the sides.
  3. Then mix the concrete and pour it into the plastic bucket to a height of 4 cm. Then let it dry well.
  4. Then carefully turn the bucket over so that you can remove the concrete slab. Then simply peel off the foil.
  5. Build your own ornamental garden fountain with concrete

Concrete is a good material to use to build a decorative fountain for the garden because you can use this...

This is how you make the concrete bucket

  1. Now take the same plastic bucket again, coat it completely with oil and put foil in it. This time, however, it should line the entire bucket.
  2. Now you have to coat the smaller bucket with oil from the outside and then cover it with foil. Then place it in the middle of the large bucket.
  3. Mix concrete again. It is now crucial that the inner bucket is held in place so that it cannot slip while you pour the concrete between the bucket walls. When this is done, let the whole thing dry well.
  4. Then carefully pull out the inner tub and carefully turn the large tub over to remove the flower tub. You then place this precisely on the base plate and your concrete flower pot is ready.
