How to create a fan page on Facebook

1. Visit the Facebook-Home page. At the bottom of this page is a link that reads, "Create a Page for a celebrity, band, or business." Click on this to create a fan page.
2. In the first step you will be asked if you want to create a community site or an official site. To create a fansite, choose the community page, because the official page is for the artists themselves. You now need to give your page a name - note that the name cannot be changed afterwards. To confirm the name, click on the blue "Create Community Page" button.
3. A new page opens on which you should indicate whether you already have one profile own on Facebook. If you haven't already facebookaccounts own, you now have the opportunity to create one by filling in the given fields with your personal data. If you already have a Facebook username, you can log in under “I already have a Facebook account”. Confirm your entries by clicking on the blue button at the end of the page.

4. Your fan page is now created and can be viewed by any fan. On the left side in the navigation bar you will find some settings to design your fan page. Click on "Edit page" to add information or a profile picture. Under the item "Apply with advertisement" you have the possibility to design your own advertisement. And last but not least - probably the most important point - "recommend to friends". Show the fan page to all your Facebook friends so that you can have lively discussions and rave about it together.
