Delete messages on Facebook

1. First, log into your Facebook account with your username and password.

5. The "Actions" button is now displayed in the upper part of the window. Click on the button and a selection list will open. Select the "Delete Messages" entry here to be able to delete messages.
6. A small box is now displayed in front of each individual message. Click in the appropriate boxes of the messages that you would like to delete from your Facebook account. When you have selected a message, a blue tick appears in the box and the message is highlighted in color from the others. You can select a single message or multiple messages.
7. After you have marked all messages that you want to delete, click on the "Delete selected" button. A message appears stating that the messages that you have deleted cannot be restored. If you really want to delete the messages, confirm the message with "Delete Messages" and the messages will be permanently deleted. If you do not want to delete the messages after all, you can cancel the action using the "Cancel" button on the notification message.
8. If you want to delete all messages in a conversation, you can do this using the "Delete All" button. Here, too, you will be asked whether you really want to delete the entire conversation and that it cannot be restored. Confirm the deletion and the entire conversation will be deleted from your Facebook account.
