What is a shemale?

Since the middle of the 19th century, the term was used frequently in the literature, films and also used in pornographic depictions.

Today, transgender people don't like hearing the term because it still carries negative connotations. This is because, in the past, medicine and psychology used to speak of a shemale in connection with mental disorders and sexual deviations. It is now known that gender diversity is a naturally occurring part of life in all cultures and at all times.

Shemales are homosexual, are attracted to men, but do not perceive themselves as men, but feel as women.

Being transgender means cross-gender emotions

Shemales are often viewed as multisexual fetish objects as they can enter into relationships with both straight and gay partners.
Here, shemales naturally feel stigmatized and misunderstood.

This group of transgender people, i.e. people who want to adapt their perceived gender to reality, can often be recognized by certain characteristics despite hormone treatments and operations. For example, shemales often have large feet and hands because once they are fully grown, they are not so easy to shrink. In addition, the deeper voice is an indication, because despite hormonal treatment, the voice is usually not quite female.

Shemales who have undergone gender reassignment before the completion of puberty will usually more female than those who have already passed puberty at the time of gender reassignment to have each other.

So transgenders are both women who identify as men and men who define themselves as women. The word means to switch between genders. The biological gender you are born with does not have to be the gender you identify with and how you want to live.

There are many, often derogatory terms for these people, such as "transe", "transvestite", "trans" or "ladyboy".

Note that the terms shemale and femboy cannot be used synonymously and a clear distinction is necessary here.
