If you want to attach a curtain without having to drill holes, you can attach a clamp rod very quickly and easily.

Buy the right clamp rod
If you want to hang up a curtain using a clamp rod, there are a few things to consider before and when buying the clamp rod:
- Before you buy the clamp rod, you must first measure the distance between the two walls between which you want to clamp the clamp rod.
- After you have measured the dimensions, you can now buy a suitable clamp rod in a hardware store, furniture store or on the Internet. So that the clamping bar also fits between the two walls, you should pay attention to how long the clamping bar is and how far it can be pulled out when buying.
- In addition to the exact size, you should also decide on a suitable color. Clamp rods are available, for example, in the common colors such as white, black, silver or to buy gray.
Attach the curtain to the rod

- In order to be able to attach the curtain to the clamp rod, you must first attach curtain rings to your curtain. If you have a loop curtain, you can do without the curtain rings. Note that you cannot attach heavy curtains to the clamp rod, otherwise it will not stay between the walls. So do not use opaque fabrics, but transparent ones.
- When you have attached the curtain to the rod, you can now grasp the clamp rod in the middle and then pull it out until the ends are lightly pressed against the walls.
- Now use the spirit level to measure whether the clamping bar is hanging straight, and then press it as hard as possible against the two walls so that it exerts enough pressure and gets stuck.
