VIDEO: Activate Firefox Flash

Firefox offers the ability to manage many add-ons and plug-ins with just a few clicks. You can easily activate Flash, which is required to play videos, among other things.

In order to be able to use browser games or to play certain web content, such as videos, you need the Flash Player. This can be activated very quickly in Firefox:

1. To do this, open Firefox and select "Tools" in the menu bar. If no menu bar is displayed, first activate it by right-clicking on the upper edge of the browser and ticking the "menu bar" box.
2. Now open the add-ons and then click on "Plug-ins". "Shockwave Flash" should be listed here. Behind it there is a button "Activate", which you click on.

Flash not available in Firefox

If you follow the instructions described above and under Plug-ins in Firefox the Schockwave Flash is not listed, you must first install it in order to activate it afterwards can:

1. To do this, first open the Adobe website to download the Shockwave Flash to install. If a message appears on the page that you have not yet installed the required plug-in, select "Install".
2. The plug-in is automatically implemented in Firefox. Once this process has been completed, it is not necessary to reactivate the Flash Player.
