Firefox does not save the homepage

Assign a homepage in Firefox

1. If you have rarely made adjustments to the browser up to now, it may be that you have incorrectly saved the start page in Firefox. Follow these steps for proper customization.
2. Start the application and open the settings from the top menu. Under "General" you should already find the point "Start" and below that a line where the browser start page can be set.
3. Switch to the desired page in the background and then click on "Use current page", after which the URL will also be adopted. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the complete address. Remember to really mark every letter and character.
4. Once you are done, you can close the window and it will automatically save. Test the change by closing and then restarting the application.

If the service still doesn't save the url

• If the steps described above do not help, open the settings again and check the URL there to see whether the entry "Show start page" has been set. If this is not the case, the browser will either show the windows that were last opened or also empty pages.
