- It is assumed that you are not doing any child labor. So you have to be at least 15 years old if you have a holiday job. According to the Youth Labor Protection Act, work for 14-year-olds is only allowed if it does not lead to damage, this is when working in agriculture or when delivering newspapers or doing very light activities guaranteed.
- You can work for a maximum of four weeks during the holidays. This applies until you no longer have to attend school. Accordingly, you can only work for up to twenty days during the holidays. You are not allowed to work on weekends, the Youth Labor Protection Act prescribes a five-day week.
