Remove a link on Facebook
Links that you have posted on Facebook can also be removed, just like any other post you have posted. All you have to do to remove it is use the context menu.
Remove posts and links
- If you've posted a post on Facebook or shared a link, but you can find it in If you'd prefer not to post it afterwards, you can also return your own post afterwards remove. To do this, you first have to be in your FacebookAccount log in.
- Next, switch to your own profileby clicking on your own name in the upper right corner. You will now land on your personal timeline with all the contributions that you have posted so far.
- Then find the post or link that you want to remove. If you now move the mouse over this post, a small icon with stylized heads will appear in the top right corner of the post. If you click on it, the context menu for this post opens.
- Here you can now determine whether this post should only be displayed as visible to a certain group of people. Alternatively, you can delete the post completely via an entry below. The contribution will then also disappear on the walls of all of you friends.
Hide foreign Facebook content
