Your iPhone's call history contains all phone activity

  • Every version of the Apple iPhone has some standard programs and functions. These are shown as icons on the dock, which is located at the bottom of the home screen. There are a total of four different icons for Phone, Mail, Safari and music.
  • As soon as you touch one of these symbols, you get additional functions. The iPhone's call list is hidden in the green phone symbol and is located on the bottom next to your favorites.
  • The call list is a relatively extensive and extremely useful feature of the iPhone. All calls are collected in the list and saved for an unlimited period of time. In the call list you will find further information on each individual entry, such as the date, the duration or the number.
  • Not only can you delete the entire call list on your iPhone at once, but you can of course only remove individual entries from the list. This can make perfect sense if you want to keep the list clearer or if you don't want anyone else to see the individual entries.

This is how you delete the call list entries one by one

  1. First touch the green phone icon and then click on the call log in the new menu. There are 2 different options available for the display. You can either display all calls or just the missed calls.

  3. If you touch the blue arrow behind an individual entry, you will immediately be taken to the relevant telephone book entry. To delete individual entries, click on "edit" at the top right.
  4. The call list changes and there is now a red symbol in front of each entry. If you now touch it, you can remove the entry from the list by pressing "Delete".

In this way, you can gradually thin out your call list and delete unnecessary entries. That iPhone does not ask you again whether you really want to delete the entry. All removed entries from the call list are then irrevocably deleted and cannot be restored. You can of course use the same procedure for the missed entries in your call list.
