- The Botanical Garden in Wuppertal invites you to go for romantic walks not only in summer, but also in winter. Here you can marvel at magnificent specimens of plants and relax on a bench in the beautifully planted garden. As the garden is spacious, you might want to bring a backpack with drinks. - You can also go for a walk in the Vorwerk Park, which was created on the property of the Vorwerk entrepreneurial family. Streams, fish ponds and the colorful splendor of flowers put everyone in a fairytale mood. The view over the valley is particularly romantic.
- The Barmer facility is one of the largest recreation parks in Germany and is particularly popular with hikers. 100 hectares of green are used here to be able to go for long walks. Hiking or Walking paths, well-tended ponds, lush green meadows and relaxation areas invite you to marvel. From the Toelleturm you also have the opportunity to catch a wonderful view.
- In the immediate vicinity of Wuppertal, a romantic atmosphere is also guaranteed at Burg Castle. The restored castle complex takes you on a short journey through time through the Middle Ages. From the valley you have the option of reaching the castle by cable car. The entrance fee for adults is 5 €, which is definitely worth it.
