VIDEO: Make your own money box
As soon as possible and as soon as they learn how to handle money, children are taught that one has to save their money. So that saving can also be fun, every child should have a beautiful, creative money box. However, these money boxes are always the most beautiful when they have been made by yourself or you can easily make them yourself and thus have a very personal touch.
These instructions are not only suitable for making a money box for a child, they can even be carried out very well with a child.
First of all, inflate the balloon to the desired size of your money box. Then make a normal knot.
Then lay the balloon on a bowl so that it is fixed and cannot roll away.
Now take the mixed paste and rub it into the balloon. You can either use your hands or a brush to do this.
Then tear off some newspaper (small pieces) and place them on the pasted balloon. A layer of newsprint should now be followed by a layer of paste over and over again.

Now work your way up, layer by layer, until you have glued about four to five layers of newspaper onto your balloon. But always make sure that the layers are really covered with paste, and remember that the whole balloon should really be glued all around.
For the last layer, use white paper or kitchen roll (depending on your preference). Make sure that by the end of your last, white layer, nothing is left of the newspaper!
After your last layer of paste, let the whole thing dry for about a day.
When your balloon is completely dry, you can move on.
Now you can give your balloon a look. Here you can make your own face with the money box. For example, you can make a real piggy bank out of the balloon by making two ears out of cardboard cut out, glue them back with white paper and paste them in the desired places on your balloon fix.
You can use parts of an egg box for a pork trunk and the legs of the bill. To do this, cut out five parts from the underside (four legs, a trunk) and glue them to your balloon like the ears.
When everything is dry, you can paint the pig with the color of your choice.
At the end you take a sharp knife and cut an opening for the child's money in the “balloon” and the piggy money box that you thought up and made yourself is ready.
