The command for the Minecraft server

  • First things first: If you only play on one server, you have no rights to that Minecraft-Weather to change. Such changes can only be made by someone who is logged in as an admin.
  • If you as an admin want to change the weather quickly, there is a command that you have to enter: toggledownfall. This immediately changes the weather into the exact opposite. If there is sunshine on your server, rain or snow will fall (depending on which biotope you are in). You can switch off rain / snow accordingly.
  • If you want something more specific, enter in the server console: weather [] a.
  • "Weather" is the command that the weather should change. Enter the desired mode in the angle brackets, for example “clear”. The duration at the end is optional. You can specify it (e.g. with the number 50) or simply leave it out. If you do not write the last part in the line, the weather will be permanently changed.
  • Warning: If you do not enter your commands in the server line, but in the chat line in direct play, each command must begin with a slash (/).
