This is how old customers charge their Tchibo stick
The Internet stick from Tchibo offers you a wireless one Internet access from home or on the go. The surfing speed is up to 7.2 Mbit / s. As an existing customer, you have the choice between paying by flat rate and using prepaid. For new customers from June 2014, only the monthly flat rate is possible. There is no daily flat rate.
Tchibo uses the O2 network for its tariffs. You can choose between three monthly cancelable flat rates with different data volumes. The provider calculates additional data volumes based on volume at a tariff of 0.24 euros per MB. As a new customer, you can purchase the stick for a one-off price of 14.95 euros.

As an existing customer, you still have the option of using the prepaid option. This offer is interesting for people who only surf occasionally. Here you do not pay a monthly fee and you can use your credit flexibly. After it is used up, recharge it.
The Tchibo stick can be topped up monthly with an individually determined amount or by credit card from 10 euros from the branch. To top up, enter the code on the card. Topping up via SMS or online works just as well. The credit is available to you immediately after topping up.
The prerequisite for these flexible instant top-up options by phone, SMS or online is that you store your bank details once. You can do this either online, in the Tchibo branch or by calling customer service.

Instructions for the charging process
After you have your SIM card on www.tchibo-mobil.de and then plugged it into the surf stick, plug it into a USB port on the computer at. The installation then takes place automatically with the help of the wizard. From now on you can log in with your PIN, surf the web and top up your credit.
To top up the credit, proceed as follows:
1. Manage credit. After you have logged into the browser with your PIN, select the "Manage credit" button.
2. Recharge credit. Here you have the option of choosing between "credit check" and "top up credit".
3. Enter recharge number. After you have clicked on "Top up credit card", enter your top-up number from the credit card from the Tchibo branch.
4. Select additional options. You can select additional options for your stick by clicking on this function. Here you will find all information including the booking options and the option to cancel.
5. "Select monthly charge ". The "monthly charge" option enables you to automatically have a fixed amount credited to your Tchibo account once a month.
Tips for using the stick
As a new customer, you can benefit from the Tchibo-Stick contract offer. When placing an order, enter your account details. In this way, the provider can regularly debit the monthly flat rate from your account on a fixed day of the month.
As an existing customer with prepaid top-ups, you should be careful not to fall into a cost trap for expensive downloads. You pay 0.24 euros per MB. A three-minute YouTubeVideo can cost around 8 euros.
The Tchibo stick uses the O2 network. Compared to other German networks, this has less coverage for mobile surfing in terms of the UMTS / HSDPA and LTE transmission methods. However, the Surfstick offers you greater flexibility in terms of tariffs and contractual agreements compared to other providers.
