VIDEO: Folding money as a bicycle

This is how you fold the components of the money bike

  1. One wheel of the bicycle always consists of two 5 euro bills. These notes are each folded in a zigzag at a distance of 5 mm - starting on one of the short sides. The best way to do this is to use the bone folder so that the creases hold well. After both bills have been folded through, they are folded again in the middle.
  2. Now small strips of adhesive tape are used to glue the two ends bent towards the middle together, so that a fan is created. Repeat this with the 2nd Sham.
  3. Then the two compartments created are glued together on one side so that you can already guess the first wheel of the bike. Repeat this process for the 2nd Wheel.
  4. The handlebar consists of a 5 euro note, which is folded in a zigzag at a distance of 5 mm starting on the long side and then slightly bent again in the middle.
  5. The saddle is made by folding a 5 euro note starting with the short sides as usual and halving it. Then it should be fixed relatively close to the center of the resulting fan with adhesive tape so that the ends still have the opportunity to fan out a little.
  6. Fold money as a car

You want to help someone with a grant for a driver's license or a car purchase ...

  7. You fold the fork and the seat tube (5 euro note) as well as the longitudinal tube (20 euro note) by kinking the note - again starting on the long sides - the individual parts are ready.

After the folding comes the assembly

  1. So now first take the longitudinal tube and a wheel and insert the tube into the open side of the wheel. Fix it with thin adhesive strips.
  2. Now place the seat tube at a 90-degree angle to the longitudinal tube so that one end can be wrapped around the longitudinal tube and also fixed with adhesive tape.
  3. Now put the saddle on the saddle tube and fix it with glue.
  4. Now take the banknote that is supposed to represent the fork. The handlebars are now placed on the upper end - just like the seat tube on the longitudinal tube - and also wrapped and fixed with adhesive tape.
  5. The lower end of the fork is now inserted into the 2nd Wheel inserted and also glued on.
  6. Now the free end of the longitudinal tube is wrapped around the fork and fixed - the bicycle made of banknotes is ready.

Folding a bicycle out of bills is not that easy if you've never done it before. It initially takes approx. 20 minutes until the first work is finished. If you don't want to work with adhesive strips, you can also use sewing thread and wrap or sew the areas to be connected. Have fun trying.
