Networking through mutual friends

at Facebook you can display other Facebook profiles of your friends that you and your respective Facebook friend have together in the friends list.

• This function is also available to you for other Facebook people who you do not have in your friends list, provided that this contact has approved the view.
• The purpose of this function is that you can quickly see whether your Facebook friend is similar contacts how she has and whether a contact that has not yet been added already has mutual friends with you.
• In addition, these links are used to give you more meaningful suggestions for potential new friends to deliver (for example via the "friend finder" or with the function "people you maybe know ").

Call up mutual friends on Facebook

With just a few clicks you can log into one of your Facebookfriends show the mutual friends.

1. Start your web browser and open the homepage of Facebook.
2. If you are not yet logged in, log in with your access data at the top right.
3. When you have reached your Facebook homepage, click the search field and and enter the name of a friend for whom you would like to see the mutual friends. It is sufficient if you only enter part of the name.
4. Once the friend appears in the drop-down list, click on the name.
5. The profile- friend's side. In the left pane, click Friends.
6. You will now see all friends in alphabetical order. At the top, click the "Search by Name" drop-down list.
7. Now select the first entry "Mutual friends".
8. The display then changes from all friends to the mutual friends you have with the respective friend. You can further restrict the selection by entering the name of a possible mutual friend in the search field above.
