Hide the age

  1. If you want to hide your age on Facebook, you must first log into the company's website. To do this, go to the homepage and enter your access data.
  2. After you are logged in, you will land on the start page and see your profile picture in the top left. Press on it with the mouse and you will automatically land on your profile.
  3. At the top right of your profile you will find the button "Edit profile". Activate this also with a mouse click.
  4. You will now land directly at the general information, where your date of birth can also be seen. There is a small menu directly below that you can open with the mouse.

  5. Select "Don't show my date of birth on my profile" to hide age on Facebook.
  6. Finally, you will see the "Save changes" button at the bottom right. You must also press this for the changed settings to take effect.

Suppress birth dates on Facebook pages

  1. If you have a Facebook page in addition to your profile, first switch to administrator mode. To do this, go to the arrow in the top right corner of the Facebook start page and select "Use Facebook as a page".
  2. Press the "Change" button.
  3. Under the name of the page you will see the field "Edit info". You can open this with a click of the mouse.
  4. Again you land directly at the general information. However, unlike with the Facebook profile, you cannot simply hide the date of birth. Here you have exactly two options: Either you omit your year of birth in order to hide the age or you remove your entire date of birth.
  5. Save the changes here as well. You can find the button for this directly under the personal information.
