Specify the degree of relationship on Facebook
You can create a free account on the Facebook Internet platform and connect with all your friends. The social network offers you a variety of useful functions and you can also integrate your family members into your profile. All you have to do is select the respective persons and indicate the degree of relationship.

- The networking function is one of the numerous useful functions of the social network. Once you get your own Facebook-profile you can connect with your friends and other members. If you then visit your profile, you will immediately find out which Facebook members are your friends.
- You can search for your acquaintances or friends quickly and easily on the Internet platform and only have to send these members a friend request via their profile. As soon as the request has been accepted, these members will appear directly in your profile below friends. A connection therefore requires the permission of both participants. This useful function will not work without your consent.
- In addition to the "normal" networking, the social network also enables you to connect with your family members and relatives. For example, you can indicate who your parents are or who you are related to on Facebook.
- The prerequisite for this useful connection is of course that your relatives also have a profile on Facebook. If this is the case, you can not only network with them, but also indicate the respective degree of relationship.

- First, log in Facebook with your membership details.
- In order to be able to specify the degree of relationship for certain Facebook members, they must first be in your friends list. As soon as the friend request has been accepted, you can set the respective level.
- In the top left under your profile picture, click on "Edit profile". Then scroll down a little to the relationship level and select "edit" there.
- Next to Family, enter the name of the Facebook friends that you are related to.
- Then select a relationship status or Relationship level, such as father, mother, brother or sister and then click on "Save".
