You don't have to be a great artist to show your child how to paint pictures of Easter bunnies because it's very easy.

Children love to paint pictures. But what do you do if your child wants to paint an Easter bunny and doesn't know how to do it? No panic! Even if painting pictures isn't quite your thing, you can use this guide to show him how to do it.

How to paint pictures of bunnies

  1. As the body of the Easter bunny, paint an egg on the lower part of the sheet.
  2. On top of the egg, put a smaller oval as the head of the Easter bunny.
  3. On the left and right of the body you put small ovals as arms.
  4. Draw two tall, narrow triangles on the left and right of the Easter bunny head; these are the ears of the easter bunny.

  6. Then paint the face: two small circles as eyes, a small point as a nose and a mouth, like a smiley face. Draw a few longer lines on the left and right of the nose as a whisker.

Easter bunny from behindĀ 

  1. Paint the rabbit as described in points 1 - 4 above.
  2. Then put an oval at the lower end of the body as a tail.
  3. If you want, you can now paint a basket on the back of the Easter bunny. Of course, there are still a few Easter eggs in the basket.

Embellish the Easter pictures with details

  • Always draw a horizon line on your pictures, with which you separate the sky and the ground on the paper and thus provide more depth.
  • You can click on the above so that the bunny is not alone on your coloring pages described way more Easter bunnies, chicks or similar thematically matching animals with on the paper set.
  • With traced or freehand drawn outlines of flowers, clouds, Easter stars and other details, you can add the finishing touches to your Easter work.   • You can also make pictures of Easter bunnies out of construction paper. You cut out two brown circles from construction paper and you have already finished the body of the Easter bunny. Then cut out the ears and glue just the bottom tip in place. Bend the ears together and slightly forward.
  • Then cut out a strip of grass and glue only the lower half to it and bend the grass stalks forward a little.
  • Now cut out colorful Easter eggs and spring flowers for the background and glue them on.
  • You can create these Easter bunny pictures wonderfully together with children. You can use it to decorate your apartment for Easter or you can send the pictures as a colorful Easter greeting.
    You can also keep a picture and then make a calendar yourself for the grandparents by sticking a suitable self-painted picture for each month.
