Interesting facts about surrealism

  • Surrealism developed out of Dadaism and originated in Paris, where it was an art movement that rose against the bourgeoisie.
  • Famous representatives of two different forms of this art are Salvador Dalí, of perspectives alienated and incompatible things combined, and Joan Miró, with whom any realism avoided is.
  • The term "surrealism" goes back to 1917, when it was used in the subtitle of a play by Guillaume Apollinaire.

Implementing alienation in art
