Auvisio: The update does not work
Auvisio is a small HDMI video streamer from Pearl and hardly bigger than a cigarette packet. This allows you to transfer the monitor display of your notebook to your large flat screen without a large tangle of cables and thus present a photo show or videos. But what to do if the software update does not work here?
The company Pearl offers a support area for auvisio users on its website instructions and an "Analysis Tool MAC Address", as well as the firmware update. - If you have problems starting the auvisio, you should check the IPv4 settings again. The gateway IP (in IPv4) must have the following IP address: "auvisio PC2TV HDMI-WLAN adapter".
- Enter the IP address of your video streamer that appears on your TV monitor in the browser. If you have further problems, it can also be successful to switch off the firewall.
- If you only want to operate the device via WLAN, you need an N standard for this. Because B to G standards are simply far too slow for such large amounts of data.
- Also set the radio channel of your device to the one on which your wireless router transmits. This means that it is not necessary to switch the WLAN card of the laptop or PC back and forth between several channels.
