You will find the legal regulation in §§ 38, 122 SGB III.
  • Please note that you can also contact the employment office by telephone, in writing or by e-mail in order to meet the deadline. You only need to provide your personal data and the termination date, but you must then make up for the personal report after making an appointment at the employment office.

  • You are obliged to report regardless of whether you are filing an action for protection against dismissal or whether negotiations with your employer about the possible continuation of your employment relationship are pending.
