VIDEO: Set up a mailbox for a Vodafone number
To the Mailbox To set up your Vodafone number, insert your Vodafone card into your mobile phone and call the mailbox. In the language menu you can now make a personal greeting and other settings.
Set up the Vodafone mailbox
- Call the free number 5500 in your Vodafone mailbox. You are immediately taken to a voice computer. The first thing to do is to set your PIN, which you will need later when you access your mailbox messages from another number.
- You will now be asked to say your name. This will be announced to the caller, who will be forwarded to your mailbox. You then no longer hear the announcement: "You are connected to the Vodafone mailbox for the number ...", but your name is given.
- Then press "2" to record a personal text as an announcement or select the "1" key to set the standard greeting. Once you have completed this, the mailbox for your Vodafone number has been successfully set up.
- You can use the number 223022 to select various voice messages as an announcement for your mailbox. To do this, dial the number, choose an announcement and confirm it. Instead of your personal greeting, the caller will now hear an announcement that you have chosen.

Call the mailbox number
- To call the messages on the mailbox from your mobile phone number (Vodafone), dial the speed dial 5500. Then press the "1" and "1" keys to listen to the message.
- You can also reach your Vodafone mailbox from another number. To do this, dial the Vodafone area code, for example 0172. Now put the number 55 after it and then dial your cell phone number without the area code. This looks like this, for example: 0172 55 123456.
