Attach a vapor barrier - that's how it's done

  1. Before you install a vapor barrier under your laminate, the surface must of course be clean and level.
  2. The laying then follows in a trough-like manner, which means that you lay out the first sheet in such a way that it is a little upwards both at the ends and at the side of the wall.
  3. Now lay the second strip overlapping on the first strip, also standing up at the ends, and attach it to the first strip with adhesive tape.
  4. Proceed in this way until the last strip, which should then also be a little high at the ends and on the wall.
  5. After the laminate is fixed later, cut off the excess of the vapor barrier with a craft knife.
  6. You can then use your skirting boards, depending on the nature of the walls, either glue on or screw on.
