DHL: shipment tracking is not possible
The shipment tracking is a service provided by DHL on the Internet. If the function does not work, you should first look for the cause locally.
How does DHL shipment tracking work?
Each parcel is assigned a special number when it is handed over. This consignment number is unique for the day of posting. If you are the sender of the parcel, the parcel number can be found on the DHL delivery receipt.
The shipment number is printed on the package itself as a numerical number and as a barcode. The latter is used for faster reading at the various stations.
When the package leaves the DHL counter (or the packing station), the code is scanned. When it arrives at the parcel center, the number is recorded again, just as it is when you load it into your delivery driver's vehicle. All data is transmitted to a server and results in the tracking process in the parcel tracking. DHL makes the respective status available free of charge on its homepage.
The shipment tracking offers the possibility of tracking the current location of the parcel with the shipment number - until the delivery has been delivered to the recipient and acknowledged. Enter the number

If the form does not work, first check that you have entered the tracking number correctly. To avoid input errors, copy the number into the clipboard and then paste the content directly into the form. Rotating numbers are therefore excluded.

You may have a general problem with your internet connection. Test the functionality of another website by manually typing the name into the browser line. If so, you can assume that your internet is working.
If you are using an older browser, updating to a newer version can help. The older software can then no longer implement the newer HTML code.
If you start the shipment tracking at 2 a.m., the DHL homepage can also be serviced or restarted. This maintenance work is often started at night or early in the morning. Just try again later.

If the package cannot be found for more than six days, only the sender of the shipment can submit an inquiry to DHL.
