Skymaster: program with the remote control

There is a universal remote control from Skymaster. With this it is possible to operate a television, an AV receiver, the DVD or Blu-Ray player or other devices. Many devices are already registered in the remote control, others can be added with the appropriate codes.

Programming is very easy

1. Make sure that the batteries in the remote control have sufficient power before you start programming devices.
2. Press the "set" button on your remote control. After that, you need to group the device. Press the appropriate key. You can choose from TV for televisions and VCR for video recorders or DVD recorders. Aux is the group for all devices that have an audio output, i.e. AV receivers, CD players, cassette decks or MiniDisk players. You can program cable receivers or satellite receivers under CBL / SA.
3. You now have the option of entering the device code. This consists of three digits. You can find it in the operating instructions for your device. A list of many devices is printed there.

4. If your device is not listed, simply select another device. However, this must have the same manufacturer. Sometimes you have a successor model that has a different product name but the same remote control code. Try it out, in most cases another device from the same manufacturer will fit.

5. Enter the code. The signal lamp lights up briefly once, then the code is stored. If it lights up twice, there is an error. Try a different code or use the automatic code search.

This is how the automatic code search of the Skymaster remote control works

If the device code is not listed or if you do not have the operating instructions at hand, you can activate the automatic code search.

1. You activate the automatic code search by simultaneously pressing the "Set" button and that of the respective device group. Make sure the device you want to get the code for is turned on.
2. The keystroke should last three to four seconds, then the code search is activated. You can recognize this by the flashing standby light.
3. The remote control will now try to switch off all devices that are switched on. If the device for which you want to program the controls is switched off, press any button on the remote control. You have activated the Skymaster remote control for all functions without a code.
