Create a DivX file with a suitable program
There are quite a few programs that can convert DVDs to DivX format almost completely automatically. Great previous knowledge is therefore not required. Another freeware that allows you to easily create a DivX file from a DVD is AutoGK ( http://www.netzwelt.de/download/3734-autogk.html). The free program also works with older systems such as Windows XP and is very easy to use.
- First the DVD is placed in a DVD drive and the respective program is started. You then have to enter the source and target in the program. Some programs still allow different quality levels with DivX.
- Once all of the information has been entered, all you have to do is start the conversion. Depending on the quality and performance of the computer, this process can take a long time.
