SHS files can usually only be read with the Microsoft Word or open Excel. However, if you also want to edit SHS files, you have to convert them beforehand.

This is how SHS files are created

  • In the MicrosoftOfficePrograms Word and Excel you can use various objects, such as charts or pictures, embed.

Ways to open

  1. Take your mouse and go over the icon of the SHS file.
  2. Right click on it. You should only click once with the mouse and not twice.
  3. Select “Open With” from the menu.
  4. A list of programs will now appear. Choose your program. Excel and Word are recommended to you.
  5. Now the respective program is started and the content is visualized in it.

Or open a new Word document and drag and drop the selected SHS file into the document. It is not possible to open an SHS file using the menu bar and the "File" and "Insert" commands.
