Watch TV in Windows 7
With Windows 7 the PC becomes even more of a multimedia center. If you want to watch TV, you can either use Windows itself or a free TV program
Watch TV with Windows 7 Media Center
- Click the Start button, and then click All Programs. Select the Windows 7 Media Center.
- Under the heading "Films" you will find the sub-heading "TV". Click on this.
- You can now either under Video from present Videos Look in the MSN video library, or select Internet TV stations under TV program or install Internet TV using the "Search Streaming" function. Microsoft also presents clips, films and series there.
- In the Internet TV section, you can choose from various categories for watching TV.
- If you have a TV tuner, for example a USB stick for TV reception, you can also watch live TV on TV via Windows 7.

Watch TV with Internet TV
Apart from Windows 7 Media Player there are even more ways to watch TV on the Internet.
- The MSN program does not offer a large selection for watching TV. Others free software offers you the opportunity to select TV stations of your choice from all countries, to watch TV series that you have missed or Live streams to pursue. You can find out how to do this on the Internet.
- You can find instructions for installing Shoutcast TV or Internet TV. While Shoutcast TV is sorted by category, Internet TV offers a selection by country.
There are plenty of ways to use the PC as a television.
