How do you write an apartment notice?
Quitting an apartment is easy, you just have to keep the form. So that there are no misunderstandings that could cost you dearly later, you should know how to write an apartment notice.
- Please read yours carefully rental contract by. Under "Notice period" you will find how many months in advance you have to cancel.
- Address the apartment notice to the apartment owner and, if there is a property manager, also to the property manager (both of you may receive same letter).

- Be as friendly as possible. It is always better to part in peace than in an argument.
- It is best to write the letter on the computer. If you are just a little unsure whether you wrote everything correctly, have someone proofread the letter. Spelling errors should not appear in such an official letter.
- You can also handwrite the letter yourself, but you have to make sure that your handwriting is clean.
- An apartment notice is best sent by registered mail and acknowledgment of receipt.
