Preparation of the image files

  1. To get to Paint. NET images, you must first insert the required image files into the program. To do this, open the file at the top left after starting the program, go to "Open" and get the first picture you need from your folder.
  2. Do the same with the second picture. Now you can see your pictures in small format in the upper right corner. Of course, you can insert additional images into the editing mask in the same way.

With Paint. NET images merge

  1. If you want to arrange two or more image files on a new image, you must first determine the size of the new image. With a click on "File" and then on "New" you can specify the pixel size of the image. A white field of the desired size will now appear.
  2. Now click on one of your picture files and go to "Edit" and then to "Copy". Now click on the newly created white area and insert the previously selected image file with the "Edit" and "Paste" commands. To change the size of the image file, you can simply drag one of the corner points and bring the image to the desired length and width.
  3. In the same way you bring the second image file onto the new white "sheet". You can of course repeat this process for other image files.

  5. When you have put all the pictures together, you can save the new picture under "File" and "Save" as a JPG or GIF file on your computer to save. It is also possible to save the image as a PSD file.

Transparent accents

You can also at Paint. NETpictures Merge them together by placing one image file directly on top of the other to create transparent accents.

  1. To do this, copy an image file by clicking on "Edit" and "Copy". Now click on the second image file and go to "Edit" and then to "Paste into new layer".
  2. The picture below is now covered. But it can be brought out again with the help of the layer properties. To do this, first go to "Layers", then to "Layer Properties" and regulate the opacity of the image on top.
  3. The further to the left you move the slider, the more transparent the image file on top becomes and the more visible the image below becomes. Interesting transparent effects can be created here!
