Of course, it is also crucial here whether you only do this as a hobby or already commercially. Furnaces for commercial purposes are of course correspondingly larger and also more expensive. So-called tunnel ovens are used for porcelain.
• If you want to make such a purchase, look at the dealers for used ovens, these are checked and much cheaper than a new oven.

• If you fire porcelain in the oven, you must of course also adhere to the prescribed firing temperatures. These in turn depend on the material and requirements. You should also consider this when buying a kiln. However, there are already prepared tables on which you can read this off.

• It is easier if you want to paint porcelain that has already been made and then bake it in the oven. Although you also have to burn the motifs afterwards, you do not need a kiln for this, just your oven.
