Many men dream of being a bodyguard. But personal protection plays a minor role in everyday life. The protection of objects (for example security in shopping centers) is much more common. Here the costs for the client and the fee for the security company are correspondingly lower.

- Bodyguards on behalf of the government are civil servants and are paid that way. Regardless of whether it is for the government, for companies or for private individuals, the provision of personnel is always very cost-intensive.

- If you still need a security vehicle, an additional 100 to 300 euros per day will be added. Of course, you also pay for the kilometers driven. The kilometer allowance will be between 0.75 and 1 euros plus VAT.
- You still have to include expenses in your calculation. This can be any accruing accommodation costs. As a rule, billing is based on original receipts.
- If you hire an independent bodyguard, you can calculate with a daily rate, more precisely the daily fee, in the range of 1,900 euros and 9,000 euros.
- Anyone who has completed training to become a specialist in protection and security can demand an hourly wage of 12 euros and more from their company.
- The minimum wage in the security industry is around 6.50 to 8.50 euros, depending on the federal state. There are also additional surcharges.
