Klarmobil: Configure internet settings

Klarmobil offers you the opportunity to make cheap calls. But even if you want to go online on the move, you should choose the Internet settings that are appropriate for you. How do you configure this?

You can change various options in order to select the right Internet settings for your Klarmobil SIM card.

Change the internet settings

  • In order to be able to administrate the internet settings at Klarmobil, you should go to the "Settings" area via the selection menu of your mobile phone and switch to the "Radio Settings". Here you will find the option to configure the connections at Klarmobil when you go to "Manage connections".
  • Sometimes you will also find a small gear wheel under the item "Settings", which you have to select and then go over "More" and "Connections" in the "Modem" area, in which you can customize the Internet settings for Klarmobil can.
  • There is the field "Enter name for Internet connection". There you should select "O2 Internet", because Klarmobil uses the O2 network for its data tariffs.
  • If you then enter the access name in the Internet settings via "continue", then you should use "internet-mobilcom" here.

Configure Klarmobil

  • You have now selected the basic Internet settings for your Klarmobil SIM card. You can then use the "Advanced" item to make additional configurations. However, you should leave the previous input fields empty.
  • Now some specific internet settings have to be entered. For example, you have to choose the Domain Name System (DNS), which encrypts the names of Internet addresses. Here 195.182.110.132 should be given as the first and 62.134.11.4 as the second DNS. You also need an access number for Klarmobil. This is either * 98 * 1 # or * 99 # or *99***1#.
  • When compressing the IP header, you should enter "No" and the IP address for Klarmobil should be set to "dynamic".
  • Finally, you should specify "AT + CGDCONT = 1" for the "AT command" item in order to complete the configuration of the Internet settings.
