Not all of the Cataclysm areas can be entered directly

• With the current World of Warcraft add-on Cataclysm, not only has the old world of WoW been fundamentally changed, but some new quest areas have also been added. As soon as you reach the minimum level 80 with your hero, you can start with the quest either in Hyial or in Vashir. While you can easily reach Uldum and Twilight Highlands with a griffin, you cannot gain direct access to the other areas.
• The new Tiefenheim area is - as the name suggests - deep beneath the surface of World of Warcraft, and a very special battle is raging there. The World Pillar is almost destroyed by the outbreak of Deathwing (the boss of the expansion) and urgently needs to be repaired by the players. In order for you to be able to intervene in the battle for Tiefenheim, you first have to get into this impressive area.
• But no hero comes to Tiefenheim that easy, you not only need the necessary minimum level, but also have to master an additional series of quests.

This is how you come to Tiefenheim as an alliance member

1. Members of the alliance, like members of the Horde, must first reach level 83 with their character. You can easily do this in the two starting areas of Cataclysm. If you have reached this level, you set off with your hero to the human capital Stormwind.
2. Go to the trading district and there should now be a gold question mark on your minimap. Accept the Hero's Call: Deepholm quest on the bulletin board.

3. Now you have to go to the large stone circle behind Stormwind Cathedral. This is located on a lake. There you hand in the quest and immediately accept the follow-up quest. Your hero will now come straight to the Maelstrom and witness Thrall and his incantations there. Talk to the female NPC there and you will get on the back of a griffin.
4. Together you will now fly directly into the maelstrom to Tiefenheim. After a few minutes you will have landed and you can accept the first quests in this area.

In the future it will be much easier to get to this area. All you have to do is enter the portal at the stone circle in Stormwind and you will be teleported to Tiefenheim.
