First uninstall the existing IE9

  2. Then click first "Start" and then "Control Panel". In the left area click on "Show installed updates".
  3. In "Uninstall Update", find the Microsoft Windows section. Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9, then click Uninstall. When prompted, click Yes to confirm.
  4. Now restart your computer. This completes the process of uninstalling IE9. In addition, the previous version of Internet Explorer is restored for the time being.
