Write in italics in Facebook chat

Nor does it work by highlighting the word in your chat text and then trying to move forward using "Edit" (at the top of the screen), you just have to know how to do it.
How to italicize words in Facebook chat
- Go from offline facebook chat status to online chat status. Select your chat partner. Write your text in the space provided.
- You must put an underscore ("underscore") before and after the word or words you want to italicize. So it looks like this: "How do you write _ italic_ in Facebook chat". In this case, only the word "italic" appears in italics. If you want to write several words in italics in a row, then it looks like this: "How do you write _ italic in the Facbook-Chat_"? In this case, the three words "italics", "at" and "Facebook chat" appear in italics. You can write the underscore on the usual keyboards by simultaneously pressing one of the two "up arrow" keys and the Key with the two dashes (in the right keyboard area), i.e. with the dash above and the shorter dash below (the underscore) to press. By the way, you can write bold with asterisks before and after the word.
