It is very important that you write down the mixing proportions correctly so that you can look back if you ever do it need to touch up something, know how exactly, i.e. in what proportion to each other, you mix the colors have to. Otherwise you will find it difficult to get the purple wall color exactly the same as the one already on the wall.
- Depending on the color of the background, you should use light purple tones in particular. dark, existing wall paints, first paint the entire wall white and then paint it purple, because this will make the color more even.
- Buy a good quality white wall paint with good coverage. You will also need blue and red. The blue shouldn't be too green. The red color should have no or have only a minimal yellow tinge.
How to mix the right purple shade
- Have you chosen the right colors? Then first mix the two colors red and blue in another bucket. What you now get is a very dark purple.
- Mix the colors very well.
- Then pour it into the paint bucket with the white paint. Please note that the bright colors are very penetrating. As a rule, it is completely sufficient if you have a mixing ratio of 80% white paint, 15% blue paint and 5% red paint.
