Firefox: Extras disappeared
Firefox is a popular browser that offers its users many extras that make surfing easier, nicer, faster and safer. But you often notice that these add-ons have disappeared.

If you notice that an installed add-on is not available, the cause is always the deactivation of the additional program by an unintentional action or by an external program. But how do you reactivate the add-on?
Activate an add-on in Firefox
- To reactivate a missing add-on in the Firefox browser, first of all open your browser
- Now select the "Extras" option in the top menu bar to open the add-on area.
- Then click on the entry "Add-ons".
- A new tab opens with the add-ons manager.
- Usually it is the start page in the add-ons manager, the add-ons search, where you can search for new extras and add them to your browser by installing them. However, in order to display the extras that have already been installed, you must click on "Extensions" in the left margin of the screen. Here you can now see which extras and add-ons you have currently installed on your browser. You can edit, activate, deactivate or remove them entirely as you wish
- Now look for the desired add-on, which has disappeared from your browser and you will see that there are various buttons to the right of the name that can be clicked.
- When you have found the entry of the missing extension program, click on the button labeled "Activate".
- You will now see that the dashed lines behind the entry disappear. This means that your add-on has now been activated and is usable again
- You then only need to restart your Firefox browser so that the extensions are reinitialized.
