Skype has a number of smileys, many of which are unknown. If you come across the Chat on such an animated picture, some might think that you can add new smileys in Skype. But this is not the case. The chat partner only uses an already existing but hidden database.

To use these you need to know the correct commands. As with conventional smileys, the "hidden emoticons" can be called up using defined abbreviations. Here is a selection:

• Not exactly friendly and therefore probably not to be found in the normal selection of Skype smileys: the finger. If you want to annoy your chat partner a little or are really angry, you can fall back on this picture. But be careful, you could be resented. The code is "(finger)".
