How to Submit Wanted To Buy on eBay

1. Go to the page with the Wanted to buy from eBay.
2. Click on the green button on the left-hand side "Post a wanted ad now". You will be asked to log into your eBay account.
3. As soon as you are logged in, a page will appear on which you can now enter your request. Assign a title that describes what it is about as briefly as possible, but still precisely, and select a category. In the description you can now enter in detail what you mean exactly, for example a special edition in the case of books. You can also write in here what you have in mind in terms of price. Optionally upload a photo. Perhaps you have already seen the article somewhere and photographed it straight away.

4. Confirm your ad by clicking on "Place search ad".
5. A confirmation page will appear on which existing offers for your article will also appear, if any have been posted.

6. For three months, eBay will automatically notify you when a seller replies to your search ad. You will also be notified automatically if a corresponding offer is posted.
7. Record your search query in "My Search" by clicking on "Save this search" and fill in the pop-up window.

The classifieds page is also suitable 

1. Go to the eBay classifieds page, which is intended more for private providers, and log in (you can do that at the very end).
2. At the top center, click Post an Ad.
3. Now select a category and sub-categories until you see the "Next" button at the bottom right. Your request will be listed in the selected category.
4. A mask will now appear for detailed information on your request. Select "I'm looking for" for the ad type and fill out the remaining fields accordingly. Fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be filled out.
5. The advertisement is basically free of charge, but you have the option of highlighting your purchase requests for a fee. Select the appropriate item if you want to.
6. By clicking on "Preview" you can now see what the display will look like. You can revise it again.
7. If you have not yet logged in, a login page will appear.
8. Click on "Post Ad Now". You will also receive a confirmation email from eBay.
