What to do outside during the holidays
There are many ways to do something outside in good weather without having to spend a lot of money.
- One of the cheap and fun things to do on vacation is to go swimming. A visit to the outdoor pool doesn't cost the world. Ask your friends and pack plenty of food and drink so you don't have to spend any money on it. Then a fun day in the outdoor pool can begin.

Cook yourself something nice or buy something to nibble on, for example chips or pretzel sticks, and watch the films comfortably.
- If you have a computer or laptop, you can also play free games on the internet in case you are alone and cannot find something to do.
- A slumber party is also a fun and inexpensive way to do something on vacation. Ask your parents for permission and, if your parents agree, invite your friends over. Find some movies you have or let your friends know to bring some. Then you can watch movies together or talk late into the night. This doesn't cost any money (unless you still need to buy groceries) and is great fun.
