VIDEO: Game Launcher has stopped working
Repair game launcher
There are several ways that you can approach this problem if the game launcher has stopped working.
Many Games nowadays have the so-called Repair.exe. This helps to possibly Find faulty program parts and repair them.
- To do this, please go to the corresponding game folder in which the main game is located.
- Then start the aforementioned Repair.exe with a double click. As a rule, a window now opens and you can see how the individual files are checked and, if necessary, to be repaired. Depending on the size and scope of the game, this can take a while.
- Sit down comfortably and lean back for a long time or you can pass the time by doing other things. There is always something to do.
- As soon as the whole thing is finished, close the tool and then try to start the game again.

With the "Sims 3 Launcher" you can not only start your game, but also ...
It still does not work
If the repair is not possible or has not worked, try the following:
- Make sure that you are logged in as an administrator. It should be on yours computer There is only one user profile anyway, so you can assume that this is the case.
- Right click the game.
- A drop-down menu will now open. Here please go to "Run as administrator". This option shows that you have more rights than the "normal user"

Last option: deinstallation
If none of this works and your game launcher still doesn't work, the only thing that helps is to reinstall the game.
