Fill out the parcel label for Switzerland correctly - that's how it's done by hand
- You pack your parcel and take it to a Hermes parcel shop near you.
- There you can ask for a parcel label and fill it out by hand. Both your name and full address and that of the recipient should be noted. In addition, the current date and, if applicable, Your telephone number so that you can be reached more easily if you have any questions.
- Do not forget to include the country of destination "Switzerland".
- The parcel shop employee will then ask you to fill out a customs declaration. There it must be stated how high the value of the goods in the package is and which goods are to be imported into Switzerland for what reason. This customs declaration must be completed because the package cannot be brought to Switzerland without the declaration.
- After the shipping price has been paid, you will receive a receipt on which the shipment number can be seen. Keep the receipt in a safe place.

- Open the Hermes homepage.
- In the private customer menu there is now the "Send" tab. Please click on this field and open the subfolder "Parcels & Parcels".
- You can now create the parcel label. To do this, first select "International Shipping".
- In the next step, please select Switzerland from the country selection.
- Now select the package class. Make sure that the dimensions given always assume that you have added up the longest and shortest side of your parcel and then selected the correct parcel class. Here you can then directly select the number of packages to be sent.
- If you scroll down a bit on the page, you will find the fields in which the recipient and sender addresses must be entered. Please fill in the fields marked with an asterisk correctly.
- Then you still have to accept the terms and conditions and also tick the point at which you confirm that one knows that the value of the parcels sent must not exceed 500 euros and that of the small parcels 50 euros.
- Now you can only continue if you click on "Continue to customs declaration". In the next opening window Items such as description of the goods, value and reason for sending the parcel are now queried.
- After you have filled in these points, you can click the button "Create parcel label now" and the desired parcel label will appear in a separate window. All you have to do is print it out, stick it on your parcel and post it in the parcel shop.
