Homemade Thuringian Mett always tastes good

Thuringian Mett also tastes best when it is homemade, as you can add additional spices of your choice to the original recipe. Otherwise, however, no other ingredients may be added.

  1. Now assemble your meat grinder and first equip it with the pre-cutter, the knife and the so-called grist disk. This slice is used to pre-cut the meat.
  2. Cut the meat into pieces and turn first fatty and then lean meat through alternately.
  3. Then add the salt and spices.
  4. Prepare Mettigel - Recipe

You want to put a Mettigel on the buffet for the next 70s party, you know ...

  5. Now equip your meat grinder and equip it with the knife and the so-called pea slice. This is now responsible for the fine cut.
  6. Now turn the meat through the grinder again.
  7. Now cut two onions into small cubes and mix them with the mince.
  8. You have now made your own Thuringian Mett and can serve it on a platter. Choose a round shape here so that you can then wrap it around nicely with the rest of the ingredients.
  9. Now cut the remaining onion into fine slices.
  10. Roughly cut the parsley and spread it around the meat. Now place a slice of onion on the leaf parsley at regular intervals.
