When you switch on your Panasonic Viera television for the first time, a station search is carried out automatically after the language and length have been set, which takes about 30 minutes. You can, however, start this again later if not all channels were found the first time or if your connection should have changed.

  1. First switch on your Panasonic Viera.
  2. Then press the "TV" button at the top right and select DVB types, ie DVB-S, DVD-T or DVB-C.
  3. Then press the "Menu" button at the top left.
  4. Go to the "Setup" category and open it with the "OK" button.

  5. Press the down button to go to the DVB-X tuning menu, where X is your DVD type, and press OK.
  6. Then select "Auto Setup".
  7. With DVB-S you may now have to change the satellite and set it to "Fast" (frequency of your satellite) or "Complete" (entire frequency range) for the program search. With DVB-C and DVB-T you only have to define the channel search.
  8. Then press "OK" to start the channel search, which can take between 10 and 30 minutes.

As soon as the station search is finished, your Panasonic Viera will restart and you can then watch your new stations.

Sort the channel list on the Panasonic Viera

If the station list does not meet your requirements after the station search, you can quickly edit it with the Panasonic Viera.

  1. To do this, you would first have to call up the "Tuning menu", as you did in steps 1 to 5 above.
  2. Then select "Channel list" and open the function with "OK".
  3. To move a channel, you usually have to press the green button, specify the desired position and then press the green button again.
  4. If you want to edit the station name, you have to press the blue button, then enter the desired name, the however, it can only be a maximum of five characters long, then on "OK" and then on "Back / Return" (to the right of "OK") to press.
